VinyLoop® process

In general, PVC cables are recycled mechanically. An innovative and more sophisticated technology is represented by the VinyLoop® process – a solvent based technology which allows to recycle difficult-to-treat PVC waste and to produce high-quality, virgin-like R-PVC compounds.

The process was originally developed for cable recycling.

A specific Eco-Footprint Study validated by DEKRA showed that the Primary Energy Demand of the VinyLoop® recycled PVC is 47% lower if compared to virgin PVC compound produced by conventional route; the Global Warming Potential (GWP 100a) is 40% lower and the Water Consumption is reduced by 76%.
